Four days of meetings, workshops and events
In 2018, once again it is time for Festival della Scienza Medica, whose protagonists are internationally renowned scientists, including Nobel Prize winners and leading experts in several research and innovation fields, with the ambitious aim of bringing closer and make accessible the medical-scientific culture and its challenges to the public.

SUBJECT 2018 - TIME TO CARE

No one can reasonably deny that developments in medical science have extended our lives. Yet many of these additional years are spent worrying about our health, receiving treatment, and at times making excessive demands on medical science, not only to give us more years but also to improve the quality of our extended life span.

A CALENDAR FULL OF EVENTS

More than 60 events for this 2018 edition that promises to be very rich in contents, novelties and prominent speakers. The Festival della Scienza Medica proves to be an important and long-awaited opportunity for scientific in-depth analysis and popularization, with nationally and internationally known guests as protagonists.

AN INCREASING SUCCESS

The previous editions of the Festival stood out for a very large number of participants.
Over 50,000 people, a large number of international speakers including 5 Nobel Prize-winners, dozens of meetings and conferences in the 12 Bolognese venues. An event that arouses curiosity and interest every year.

NOBEL PRIZE-WINNERS

The event will be attended by May-Britt Moser, neuroscientist, Nobel Prize-winner in 2014 for her studies of the human brain; Lefkowitz, Nobel Prize-winner in Chemistry in 2012 for the discoveries on membrane receptors; Rosbash, 2017 Nobel Prize-winner in Physiology and Medicine for the discovery of molecular mechanisms controlling the circadian rhythm.

THE PROGRAM

Conferences, debates, open days, exhibition and meeting with students: four days of meetings, workshops and events on medicine, science and innovation field. All events of the Festival are for free and with free entrance, unless noted otherwise.
