Carlo Patrono


Carlo Patrono teaches Pharmacology at the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery (Università Cattolica of Rome), and he is Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia). He is co-author of 230 scientific articles, with over 50,000 quotations. He was awarded the Grand Prix Scientifique Lefoulon-Delalande 2013 by the Institut de France for his research about low-dose aspirin as antithrombotic medication. He is a member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei.
